Just boating on Kayuta Lake

It's been more than 2 months since we opened our camp on the lake.  Of the many activities we have done in the past, it seems like canoeing and kayaking are the only things we've done recently.  But then, that's what the lake is for anyway.  Our friends enjoy it, we really love it.  Even friends who've never tried it before have even come to enjoy it.

2012 Season Starts

Actually, we've opened the camp in mid May.  With all the rain and the limited time we've spent so far, we haven't really been able to do much exploring yet. Been out on the canoe just once so far.

It was a welcoming site though to have our hummingbirds back.  We even have a beautiful male ruby-throat regularly come to our feeder. 

With all the guests we've lined up so far, we hope to make this another memorable season.  With our upcoming 3 day work-week starting in July, we shouldn't have a problem making this happen.
